What's the story, Randy? Laura Boyce argues her point. lg? XARN--iw... .MI . if . as S.O. Exec. Board from left to right: first row-- Kathy Rollo, Cindy Cooperman, Joel Kalifowitz, second row- Yvonne Joyce, Randolph Ross, Laura Boyce, Cynthia Scott, third l'0 w- Rob Rhindress, Mitchel Rotholz, David Ebert, Mike Landman, Liz Bell, Helena Carey. Only the most ambitious students in school become part of the S.O. Execu- tive Board. With the aid of Mr. Ross, students in this group help organize and sponsor all of the school's impor- tant and worthwhile activities. Among these include: The First Annual Star Wars Disco Dance, Sing, Broadway Showcase, and many student-faculty activities. The Executive Board also al- lots money to other school functions, honor societies, teams and clubs, and was instrumental in the purchase of a new sound system for the school. The Advisory Council, consisting of students, parents and teachers who meet weekly, discusses matters con- cerning school affairs. Recent topics of discussion have been college work- shops, homework and testing proce- dures, and tutoring. Their decisions are not binding, they merely help Mr, Ostrin by suggesting new ideas to benefit the student body. STUDENT GOVERNMENT 19
