Bunsen burners, preserved speci- mens, test tubes, beakers and bottles of chemicals are a few of the fascinat- ing items to be found in at least one of Van Buren's three labs - Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Each one is a wealth of scientific equipment provid- ing the students with an opportunity to prove for themselves many of the theories they learn in class.
