Maybe participate in printing programs for school functions, learn auto maintenance, or the fundemen- tals of drafting? Shop is the place to do it. V.B. has a varied Industrial Arts program, featuring woodworking, photography, jewelry making, metal working, sewing, and auto mechan- ics. Students learn basic techniques in these areas either for recreation or elementary training for a career. Cer- tain contests are available to the shop student, such as the annual citywide architectural and technical drafting competitions.
