Diane Brooks At the Newtown Playday, Vee Bee girls showed their hidden abilities. On the i958 winning relay team were Brenda Rushing, Diane Brooks and Linda Diemer. On the i959 team were Diane O'Reilly, Linda Diemer, Diane Brooks and Brenda Rushing. Linda Diemer also won the Softball trophy in l958, and Brenda Rushing received the Basketball trophy the same year. ln summing up this new venture for Futura, l would like to say that l think it will be very difficult indeed for future generations of Van Burenites to live up to our great record.
