McClure F. McNamee 49 wandered up and down the coast getting odd jobs here and there until she came to San Francisco in 68. There she met a horse-racer md married him; at the same time she got a good job; driving Muni buses. In 1970 she realized that she deserved a better place in life, so she and her husband moved to Berkeley. Her husband thought she should nake use of her Ph. D in English, a uggestion which changed her life. She started going to How to Give Hard Homework classes and others that would help her to be a good teacher. She was hired quickly by BUSD and was last seen teaching at King Jr. High, where she is famous (or infamous) for her homework assignments.
