'The 1978 JV Basketball team is as followsg from left to right, Mark Peterson, jim Povlick, jeff jagusch, jim Marquardt, Dave Bliese, Doug Schroeder, Don Leifer, Greg Bartrom, john Gelhart, Mike Vallesky, Gary Martens, Coach Koepke . This years JV Basketball team had a fine season. They had an 8-4 conference record and were 12-8 over-all. The team was led by Don Leifer, jim Maxquardt, and jim Povlick who each averaged around 9 points a game. Ml. finished strong winning its last 5 games in a row.
