This-year's very young ML Track team did quite well. They placed Sth in Conference. It was a young, but hard working, team consisting of only 4 jLu1.iors and seniors. They were led by jim Povlick, CMVPJ who placed 3rd in State in the 100 yd. dash. Also outstanding were Phil Kopitske in the 440 and Dave Bleise who placed 3rd in State in the 440 hurdles. The team lost a lot of fine athletes last year but the team should be very good in the coming years.
