This year, Martin Luther held its second Interum. All students broke away from the regular schedules to attend a special course . Clowns, guitarists, and T-shirt creators were just a few groups involved in the two days. Once again, it proved to bean interesting exper- ience . 'v 'X ,, I F I 1 It 'Sn ia ' Interium

The Martin Luther tennis team had a fine season again this year. It still had a lot of young players, but the entire team showed a lot of confidence and skill. The team did well in conference play. They beat Northwestern and Racine twice . A high point of the season was when the team shut out Racine , five matches to none . Curt Roeglin, CMVPJ , playing mostly doubles, led the team in wins with a record of 8-4. The most improved player was Carl Evers. The team had good leadership by Tom Cutting, jeff Torres, Bill Sodemann and Craig Haupt. M.L. took 3rd, in conference , only 9 behind St. john's with Evers taking a second place in second singles. Next year's team will be good with the loss of only 4 seniors . A few j.V. matches were played and the talent looks good for next year.
