J.vX Basketball team bounced back to have a very successful season under the guidance of Coach Faszholz. The total season record was 13 wins and 7 losses, and a 10 win 2 loss record in conference play. This meant that this year's team came out on top in their league competition. The high point of the season was a last second shot made by Freshman jeff Lemke, that brought the win over St. Mary's. During the season they had a six game winning streak. Soph- omore Dave Luethy led the team in scoring and rebounding. All in all there was a team contribution and a total Lmity that brought out victory. It was a fine season. The 1976 j.V. Led by Bob Du- chow and Jim Povlick, M.L. defeated Marquette twice. A high point of the sea- son was the victory over Milwaukee Luth- eran 35-31. This was a special victory since M.L. had lost the previous meeting between the two teams at Milwaukee Luth- eran. The guys learned to work together as a team and improved their individual skills.
