Out ol' the two grades seven girls played basketball, Carol Millican, Doris Seymour, Donna Sinn, Barbara Martens, Mary Delleck, Marjorie Kelly. and llelen Kelly. Some of them went with the traveling squad. During the year the new members were Margaret Oglesbee and Albert Alexander. both of the Eighth Grade. The Seventh Grade lost one mem- ber, Larry Vonk. During the year we enjoyed one class party at the school house with our sponsor, Mr. Cramer, and a Halloween party at the home of Charles and Doris Seymour. Those with an average of 90 per cent or above in deportment are: Helen Kelly and Marjorie Kelly in the Seventh Grade, and Doris Seymour of the Eighth Grade. 30

H.S. 3 Patterson 2 'fr 'A' 'A' 'fr CORN PROJECT The baseball boys undertook a corn project this year to raise money to buy suits and warm-up jackets. Some of the seed corn to be planted was secured through advertising and some by donations. The late season was a handicap but in spite of this approximately Sl00 net was realized by the boys. Some of the people in the community who helped were: john Hamm, john Seymour, A. F. Sinn, Allen Hutchison, Frank Adams, Russell Crow, james Crawford, A. W. The students in the Fifth and Sixth Grades have enjoyed their new English Books this year. Roland Wood has had perfect attendance to date. Due to the cooperation between parents, teachers and pupils the Christmas Pageant, Holy Night , was a success. The First Aid Kit has proved to be very useful in our room. lt was bought with room funds. Our entrant in the County Spelling Contest was Mary Ann Seymour. The Honor Roll Students Cgrades and conduct average at least 90 per centj are, Sixth Grade: Tommy Hill, Mary Ann Seymourg Fifth Grade: Margo Findley and Phyllis Robbins.
