A steady improvement was made throughout the season, and the boys hit their stride in the county tournament, where they defeated Liberty Center, who had de- feated them twice in the earlier part of the season, and went on to win over Hartford, displaying some of the finest basketball playing seen in the tournament. Their two victories qualified them for the finals. where they were defeated by Norwalk by a score of 25-12. Composing the starting lineup in the majority of the games were: one senior, Wie-dmzn.i: one junior, Sinn, and three sophomores, Kleymunn, Newell, and Crawford. However, Campbell and Brown, both juniors, saw a good deal of action in the latter part of the season. BOYS' BASKETBALL RECORD M. H. S. 12 Carlisle 13 M. H. S. 24 Patterson 21 M.H.
