Youker, a state employee, is the director and organizer. We lirst appeared in publie on February 27, with a very successful r-oneert. Not, all of the band members have uniforms as yet, but it is hoped that we will have them by the Iirst of April. We are now learning to march and it is hopeful that we can be able to go to a few ol' the band festivals. The prospects are very good for a band next year since there are but four seniors in the band. The band is not only for people or children in the school, but anyone in the community that would like to join can do so. We have several community members in one group. The Iirst band was organized in 1932 with 16 members and it was under the direction of J. Miller. However, it did not stay in organization very long. It is hoped that we will be able to continue our band and we can do so with the support of the community which we already have to a full degree. 4.
