The plot centers around an American maiden, Miss Cherryblossom Cjo Monroej who is raised as a japanese. She has been left in the care of Kokemo CClinton Wise-D a tea garden pro- prietor, by her father's faithless secretary Cjohn llamml who uses the money of his master's to his own advantages. The love interest develops around the romance of Miss Cherry- blossom and jack Smith CWilbur Belll. Despite the fact that Kokemo wishes to marry her to Togo tjohn Meadej, love triumphs in the end when her true identity is learned. Other singing parts were jessica CMargaret Wisej and llarry CBurl Beamb. Roy Martens took the part of james Young. A chorus of Geisha girls gave color to the story. There were groups of American boys and girls. Altogether it was a pretty and attractive affair. MUSIC Music in high school was directed by Miss Adaline llenderson. The glee club sang at several school events.
