SECOND ROW: Jewell Grimes, Ruth Coulter, Priscilla Seif, Mary Lou Honaker, Charlotte Stevens, Joyce Miller, Sandra Vaughn, Betty Baer. At the time the pictures were taken we had no music teacher. The girls' chorus had been organized last spring and those who had participated in it last spring had their pictures taken, After Christmas Mrs. Carl Bailey was hired as music teacher and various music groups were organized, The girls elected the following officers for their group: President ......... Jewell Grimes Vice President ............ Betty Baer Secretary-Treasurer .... Shirley Pursley Librarian .................... Ruth Coulter At the time this annual went to press the girls were working on music for the Marion County Music Festival. The festival will be held some time in April at the Marion County Coliseum. We plan to sing at a spring Community Club meeting and at one of the pre-Easter assembly programs. This year we areto have tryouts to be permitted to go to the music festival, These will be held in March. Only those who can sing the music with 9070 and above accuracy will be permitted to go.
