enioz 61444 ptopiecy The year is I976. lt is the reunion ofthe class of '56. The place is Dreamy Acres , the 5,000 acre ranch that MARY IRWIN wan in a soap-jingle contest. She has invited the clcss to be her guest for the week-end. Over in the easy chairs sit GLEN LINSTEDT and BOB MOODESPAUGH discussing their iobs. Bob has what he considers a drean iob, one that really fits his talent. He demonstrates mattresses in a department store by sleeping on them. Glen is head of a road construction company which plans to build a super-modern highway which will stretch across both oceans. Everyone was sorry to hear that JOHN BURKHART could not be here tonight. As a professor of agriculture, John is in India giving talks and demonstrations on soil conservation. While talking to JANICE WHITEAMIRE, one of Los Angeles' top models, you would learn that they are coming out with a new atomic bathing suit. What a shockl Looking around you will see that DONALD LINSTEDT is the cause of all that commotion. Everyone is excited to hear that his latest painting sold for S300,000. PHIL LEATHEM proudly reports that he has iust had his 5lst set of twins. Phil, as you know is an artificial inseminator. Over there is JOHN LANDIS taking pictures, by surprise as usual. John liked taking snap- shots in school so well that he now has his own photography studio. Everyone was a little surprised to see that JLDY FABIAN made it all the way from Alaska. She has her 'Dog Kennel Club' which keeps her-pretty busy. ESTHER IRWIN is here with her new husband. Ether now changes husbands like she used to change boy friends. BILL RICE is here, too. He owns hls own tailor shop in New York Cityg Bill always did like to take mem urements. Well, here comes ANN HISSONG, late as usual. It seems that she wc: even late for her own wedding. I4

.geniot gfau Will We, the class of l956, being about to leave off this sphere of education in full possession of a crammed mind, well-trained memory and almost super-human understanding, do make and publish this our last will and testament. John landis wills his ability to type l6 words per minute to Bill Gardner, his ability to skip school to Eddie Reed, and all the left-over potato chips and ice cream cones found in his desk to Shirley Pursley. To her younger sister, Janice Whiteomire leaves directions for getting to school at 8:59 in the morning and at l2:29 V2 at noon and her particular shade of red hair to Donna Sulser. Bob Moodespaugh wills his sneaky technique in swiping the answer book to Joyce Staley and to Donald Coulter, Bob bequeaths his store of information which will make it easy for him to pass any test in any subiect at any time. To the under-graduate needing it mast, we give Philip leathem 's supply of language which will enable the recipient to talk more and say less than any other human being. Ether lrwin wills her sense of humor to Eunice Pursley and her ability to meet new boy frienck to Char- lotte Stevens. Glen Linstedtwills his curly hair to .lim Stinehelfer, to be waved in the exact waves as it has been this year. lWe hear they have Super-Duper Toni's now, Jim, for hard to wave hairl ll To Bob Vaughn, Don Linstedt leaves the remnants of his Studebaker, also he wills his last wad of slightly used pre-war Spearmint gum to Patty Hill. Bill Rice wills his fondness for listening to the kiddies Little Rascals program to Lester Lyon. John Burkhart wills his nonchalant attitude toward school to Jewell Grimes and his 4-H pin to the girl he didthe bunny hop with. Judy Fabian wills her well-beaten path to the mail box to Betty Baer and her ability to pas English tests to Roy Thacker. Mary lrwin wills her timidness to Linda Moodespaugh and her long fingernails to Jane landis. Ann Hissong wills her kleptomaniac tendencies to Patsy Rice, let's hope she doesn't swipe the key to the commercial room. To Mr. Borden, we leave the Lbper Hall . May he keep it quietll To Mrs. Langacre, our advisor, we leave a faded violet as a token of our sorrow for her loss of such an ideal class. To all, we leave as a remembrance this yearbook of l956. In witness whereof, we have hereunto set our hand and fixed our seal this twenty-third day ofMay, A.D one thousand nine hundred and fifty-six.
