Mildred Roesch Charles Burke ...... ...Junior Price Dr- Ieffly Gooch... .. ...Rodney Baldinger Badge Burns........................................Ion Elliott Mr. and Mrs. Maxwell are celebrating their twentieth wedding anni- versary--twenty years of happily married bliss. Their three children, Wilbur, Betty Lou, and Connie, put their heads together and sign a pact that never again will they cause their parents any grief. ln their bungling ways, however, things reach catalysmic proportions by the next sun. You see, Mrs. Maxwell has an old girl friend names Gladys Smurlt, who grew up, went to college and got a doctor's degree in library science. She was married to Dr. Ieffry Gocch. Gladys had a doctor's degree, too, so Mother nonchalantly announced that she was going out for awhile with her old friend, Dr. Gooch. This happened again the next day and the next, too. Purple thoughts were now mushrooming in the astonished minds of the Maxwell offspring, because they knew all would be lost. So, what to do? They decide to bring Mother back into the fold and salvage what's left of the parent's sink- ing ship. Everything ends all right, of course, but not before the kids really rock the boat. 14

A in iv Junior Class First Row - Beverly Smith, Bill Vollrath, Barbara Wilson. Second Row - Myra Lou.Myers, Gale Loyer, Penny Hayes, Carol Reish, Rr. Harden. Absent - Sonny Worcester. Junior News The Iunlor Class began the year with eight members. Glenna Bilger enrolled in January, which made a total of nine members. Mr. C. M. Barden ls the advisor. We sold refreshments at the ball games this year to make money for our Senior trip next year. A class play, 'Star Craxy , was given also to raise money for this purpose-. We ordered our class rings in September and were very happy when we received them on November 3, 1951. Most of the students enjoy sports and music. Three of the Junior boys played basketball this year: Sonny Worcester, Gale Loyer, and Bill Vollrath. Four of the Junior girls are in the school band. 18 YL
