We numbered twenty-four in all with three new fellow men to join us, They were Evelyn Kiester, Etta Lou Hale and Everett Rost, At Christmas time we gave a party at Miss Carother's home. After playing games and enjoying a lunch we exchanged gifts, The last of January the Junior Class gave an assemble program. It consisted of two skits, 'Rcemo and Julietn and UAn Appendicitus Operation.n Shortly after the second semester began Merlin Peterson and Junior Plum joined our class to help us carry on our work for the rest of the year. On April 25 we gave our Junior play nThe Night Owlgq From the proceeds of the play we put on the Junior-Senior Banquet. For our theme we used UOwyhee Canyonsn, and based our decorations and speeches around it, The program was as folllws: Toastmistress, Marjorie Bevan: Welcome, Eldon Shields: Response, Louise Law: nGold Mine In the Skyn, boy's trio: Springs of Education, Walter Swinneyg Awards, Victor Mc- Laughlin. CThe citizenship awards were given to Louise Law and Leo Simpkinsf, Hldahon sang by girl's tries To close, we sang NGod 'Bless American which was led by Mr. Overgaard, We now close our books, not to open them again until this fall, We then hope to return all in high spirits, for it will be, our .last year to enjoy the Marsing High School and all it holds for us.
