DEDICATION The Class of 1987 proudly dedicate the 1987 Reed to Coach Rod Watton Since the existence of Marshwood High School, he has led the Hawks to an exceptional level of achievement in athletic competition. As physical educa- tion instructor and head football coach, he has tried to correct the “problem with many athletes (who) take themselves seriously and their sport lightly.” His success on the playing fields and the admiration and respect of his players result from what Vince Lom- bardi characterized as a winner. Coaches who can outline plays on a blackboard are a dime a dozen. The ones who win get inside their players and motivate.” SENIOR EXECUTIVE BOARD AND OFFICERS irms tAi i Row 1: SENIOR OFFICERS — Historian K. Cheverie, Secretary B. Marble, President K. Now, more confident than ever, we enter our promising senior year. As juniors, we’ve grown up while grow- ing closer at the same time. With prom preparations and other such activities, the year has been a busy one, yet very rewarding. Although the tasks of our junior year have been challenging the valuable ex- periences of the past years have made us even more capable to fulfill them. Finally, with our class en- thusiasm and spirit, we can only an- ticipate a great senior year.
