Mr. Donald J. MacLane Principal This has been an interesting year at Marshwood. We have made definite steps toward the establishment of better lines of communication among the students, teachers, and administration; and by these lines of communication, we have found ourselves becoming a more cohesive group-a group which is increasingly proud to be called “Marshwoodians.” As our school progresses, we will continue to develop these lines of communication, to investigate new ideas, and to try out new approaches of modern educational advancement. To paraphrase the words of Pope, we will not be the first by whom the new is tried nor will we be the last to lay the old aside. 7
