MH -TV and Politics There were no face-to-face debates in the STUDENT COUNCIL campaigning, but there was plenty of the political razzle-dazzle. ln fact, there was too much as the network was in trouble for overtime. Eventually all was cleared with the sponsor, and ended happily for one party-the Seniors. And what a landslide! l President Charles Aslakson Vice President Paul Benner Secretary Susan Reich Treasurer Elfie Hinterkopf Since then all Council broadcasts have been business: Homecoming, candy sale, AFS, School Forest problems, and others vital to the operation of MHS. The scene above shows Charlie giving the student government the low-down on their Homecoming respon- sibilities and thus convincing the Voters that they had elected a super Council.
