' I JUNIOR SENIOR PROm It all began one Friday evening, the twenty seventh of April, nineteen hundred and seventy-nine. Thunder and lightining filled the sky as the class of 1960 wel- comed the Juniors and Seniors to experience a night of Fantasy. ' ' They drave the flooded highways to their destination the Chateau de Ville in Randolph. As they arrived, the lovely couples disembarked from their cars. Before the couples joined the each other, they were assembled in the lobby and mode to ascend 53 steps until they reached the climax of bursting flash- bulbs and mannequin like poses. As expected, all were seated, and their night of Fantasy began. The music was performed by the band. Second ScKiery This group consisted of five disco-boys , each in his own uniquely- colored polyester leisure suit. Finally the ultimate trip-the girls were paraded around the dance floor, escorted by their dates. This procession was to decide a queen and a court for the prom. The winners of this main event were Kim Figuerido. crowned queen, and her court Kerry Fennessey, Viki Caseau, Kathy Shannon and Tricia Kelly. Finally, the evening was complete. However, the cele- bration was not. The following day. all got together again in Darstable to top off quire on extraordinary experience. 17
