TIDE 1977 MARSHFIELD HIGH SCHOOL MARSHFIELD MASSACHUSETTS Volume 1 Number 15 PREFACE In the spring of ' 76 we began thinking about this yearbook. The stu- dents expressed the desire to design a book that was different from previous yearbooks. Everyone was anxious to give his or her time and energy into making this possible. We decided to use an informal format with many candid photographs to capture the mood of the students and faculty of Marshfield High School. Members of the senior class created poems and phrases to reinforce the feeling behind these pictures. The people who helped in the production of this yearbook were; Mr. Boczanowski, Patty lonta, Bryan Palmar, Val Henderson, Donna Castro, Marcia McGowan, Julie Hawkins, Elsa McCann, Lisa Mc- auliffe, Barbara Chaisson, Paul Kratzch, Phil Cooper, Sue McCar- thy, Maureen Courtney, Lynda Rader, Bev Clifford, Bonnie Mac- Kenzie, Sean Sullivan, Alan Bates, Lisa McCann, Betsy McEvoy, Teresa Grant, Karen McCluskey, Beth Shannon, Cynthia Henry, Terry Ducey, Robin Collins, Peggy Crofton, Valerie Bizzozero, Ray Ford, Delilah Malouf, Roy Anderson, John Forsyth, Carol McCann, Karie Anderson, Andrea Rydberg, Cathy Ames, Mi- chelle Dowell, Marion Pratt, and Paula Brackett. The combined effect of these people has resulted in Tide ' 77. ... a yearbook we feel is unique in it ' s representation of the people at M.H.S.

1977 -DEDICATION The class of 1977 dedicates this yearbook to Miss Rita Struzziery and Mr. Stephen Chim- inello of the Math and Social Studies depart- ments. We feel they both teach effectively and at the same time allow a certain amount of freedom in the classroom. Miss Struzziery and Mr. Chimenello have made many friendships while teaching at Marshfield High and have gained a great deal of respect from students and faculty alike.
