Only through cooperative effort can an educational program be provided which will enable pupils to develop de- sirable knowledge, skills, attitudes, and ideas for present and future living in American democracy. Our school board members provide this cooperative effort and effective ed- ucational leadership in our community. THE SENIORS HONOR All our teachers have shown us many kindnesses, have given us understanding, and have provided us with counsel for which we are grateful. But to you, Mrs. Brown, who greeted many of us as freshmen with a cheery yet puzzling ' ' Bonjour” and who will- ingly guided us through our demanding junior year, we say Merci, Madame. And you Mr. Marshall, who pulled us through the Roman Empire to the Russian dictatorship and who taught us the right and wrong of sportsman- ship, we salute.
