Learning to be citizens of any community, whether it be the community of the world or members of the human community, is part of the growing-up process. Each youngperson learns more readily through examples set by responsible dedicated people of the established community in which he lives. Our school board mem- bers are such individuals. They give of their time. energy, and initiative to serve the youth of our town. Through this service, they set the direction and pace for future town leaders. To them are we, the mem- bers of the Senior Class, duly grateful for all they have done to make our school years in Marshfield happy, constructive, and fruitful. Thank YOU and YOU and YOU! DEDICATION 5 ' W. ' ; Humor, kindness, warmth, and sincerity are in- gredients of true friendship- -and these are the quali- ties of two men who have taught us and associated with us, not only as teachers, but as friends. Mr. Harold Scott, our freshman adviser, our wise man of numbers, worked with us in our freshman activities and helped us to adjust to the exciting, confusing new ways Mr. Harold Scott of high school. He is a true friend, always at hand ! Mr. Richard Deasy, our friend and philoso- pher, a wise man of letters, exemplifies the high ideals of industry with his intense appli- cation to every problem. TRATION Mr. James P. Romeo, Principal Mr. Edwin A. Martinson, Superintendent The rapport which exists between a community and its school administrative officers is a decisive factor in the success of its schools ' student bodies. Fortunate are we, the students of Marshfield High, that our administra- tors, Superintendent Edwin Martinson and Principal James P. Romeo, work devotedly in our behalf. Their interest covers every phase of our school life: academic, social, athletic, and moral. These two able and admirable men give us, however, more than their interest; they work with us in person as well as in spirit. It is through them and our teachers that we learn how to deal with problems, howto accept responsibilities, and how to face the world community.
