edicu tlon MRS. GRACE E. RYDER 1917-1954 We, the class of 1954, are deeply honored to dedicate this, the second issue of The Tide, to Mrs. Grace E. Ryder. For two generations of Marshfield citi- zens she has made the difficult preparation for high school less portentous. She has always been a leader in civic affairs and a long-time advocate of instru- mental music in Marshfield schools. We wish to salute Mrs. Ryder and that selfless spirit of American educa- tion which she so perfectly typifies.
