Bedingfield, Sr., explains district legal responsibilities to superintendent Marion Winslow and Board Members-Mrs. Teresa O'Neil, Mr. Donald Matson, Mr. john Burles, Mr. Kenneth Lewis, and Mr.james Frame. School Board Other school board members are Mr. Everett Messerle and Mr. ames Frame Chairmans 9 Board Dow Beckham. The District 9 School Board is an elected group of highly responsible men and women who provide an invaluable service to the Coos Bay schools. The seven members come from different industrial areas to give a complete representation of the entire community. james Frame, the chairman, presides over the meet- ings, which are held twice monthly. The board analyzes, discusses, and acts on business matters of the school district. The hours spent by these citizens give the District 9 students an ever- progressive school and the best education pos- sible.
