Eighteen received letters with eight Jun'ors -even Seniors one Sophomore and one Freshman receiving awards. These were-Seniors Bill O Neal Jerry Nelson Jack Gunnell Bob Hammond Dick Mobley Dick Moen and John Jaehnig. Juniors, Ken Hunt, Don Bruce, Ron Runge, Duane Richardson, Bob Humphrey, Q, Larry O'Dell, Don Rutherford and Lynn Flitcroft, Sophomore, Marvin Flitcroft. Freshman, Alex Byler. With ten lettermen returning, prospects for another successful season are bright. Members of the team were guests of the Coos Bay Lions Club banquet in December at which the following awards were made: most outstanding player, John Jaehnigg most improved, Ken Hunt, most valuable backfield man, Dick Mobley.
