1938 MAHISCAN 1938 ezzior Glass gfisfory Approximately four years ago, which would be September, 1934, another class of freshman entered Marshfield Hi. Now, four years later, we stand transformed with all the dignity becoming Seniors. The Senior class began the year by electing Bill Dyer, president, Bill McFadden, vice-president, .Dixie Fortune, sec re ta ry, Patti Baer, treasurer, and Ralph lngman, ser- geant-at-arms, and Mrs. Peck was chosen our advisor. In the second semester Marine Haverly was elect- '8 Mfhdde ed to succeed Patti Baer as treasurer. Our senior play, The Yankee King by Edwin Day which was presented April l l, was a great success, an outstand- ing feature in our four years of participation in school activities. During our senior year we also took part in many other events. Our ball, the most anticipated event of the year, with originality in decoration and program, indeed, proved the class outstanding. Then, as the final milestone in our high school careers, came a very excellent commencement program. To Mrs. Peck, our advisor, we wish to extend our thanks and deepest appreciation. She not only was the backbone of our class, but worked con-' stantly to make our senior year the most enjoyable one of our lives. We've had a fine time at Marshfield, We leave with reluctance yet wel- come the opportunity to step into the world. We thank our teachers too for their assistance, and hope our successes in life will be worthy of their efforts. Dyer Fortune 7
