Wfe are happy, yet .fad to leave all the unforgetable nieinorief of our part. Our days' were full of fun with all the dancer, plays, clubf, affentbliei, partief, and ntan y other activities. UV e inet and eftablifhed an everlafting friendxhip in the fall of '46, Co-prefidentf in our frefhinan year were La Donna Ballard and Dave N orrif. Septeinber 1948 brought our clam to M.H.S. ai Sophonioref, and we becaine part of the cheering .fection at football and baihetball ganzef, and pep ralliet. UV e believe that the day we entered af ,foph5,', began .sonze of the bert yearf of our liver. But Father Time doe5n't wait. Thofe rnemoriei had to be captured and put away, because, before it .feenied pouible, we were juniorf. At last we were upperclacfinen. That year wax hi gh-li ghted by our attendance at the Snowball, and the 5 prin g fornials. The final ,ftep was added when we gained the achievement of-Seniori and Graduation. Our Jenior year hai certainly gone fait, but we will alwayt cherifh .fuch ineinorable eventf ax honzeconzing, the popular band afceinbly, Sweetheart Swirl and otheri. Now we all niuit turn our liver to the new and exciting future ahead of uf. No nzatter where our lives inay tahe ui, we will alwayc be intereited in the activitiex of the Marfhalltown High School.
