The main office student aids are a group of girls that have given up a five-day per week study hall to userve and learn in the office. These girls answer the telephone, receive and deliver notes, do sorting, coun- ting, and help the secretaries with various tasks. In the attendance center, girls pick up attendance cards, record tardies and absences, and return cards to teachers. The bulletin board girls do boards on every floor and the cafeteria. They gave up their study hallsjust to work on these boards. They have certain dates when the boards are changed, and they use their own ideas which are approved by Miss Schuette. They also have to repair the boards when they are damaged by the student body. They are a good group of girls that need no reminding to get their work done, said Miss Schuette. 59

Field trips were scheduled throughout the year with trips to the Lane-Blackbourn Gallery. A bake sale was held to raise money for the field trip and other operating costs of the club. The club has also sponsored an exceptional art member to go to a summer art studio. The enthusiasm and the great ambition to learn more about art has made the Art Club a success.
