When asked, Mr. Figi and Mr. Kieman, the eighth grade football coaches, said they feel this year's team's defense was outstanding. The team only gave up two touchdowns. Marshallis 100 pound football team was the city champion team this year. The team won three games, lost zero and tied one. Mr. Lundgren, the team's coach, feels the team was a nice group of boys having much athletic potential. He also added that they were the best passing team he's worked with in the last ten years and should help Marshall in the future to win more cham- pionships. GOLF WAS TEE - RIFFIC This year's golf teams worked very hard. The ninth grade team was undefeated. This year's eighth grade team had a record of six wins and two losses. The ninth. grade team must be doing something right to have been undefeated for two years, com- mented Coach Nehs. They will be a tremendous addition to the Craig team. With dedication they could be as good as they wanted. They deserve a lot of credit. The eighth grade team is the most improved team Ive ever had, he added.
