The Hlgh School blllldlflg was constructed In 1896 and IS a large brlclc burldmg of modern type wlth wrde walls and well llghted classrooms It IS located between Redwood and Lyon Avenues between Fourth and Frfth Streets Twenty eight rooms are provlded ID the burldmg twenty six of whtch are used for class rooms wlth a large assembly and audltorlum The latter IS also used as a gymnasium The four specral departments beslde the regular Academic are lndustrlal Arts Home Economlcs Commercial and Sclence The enrollment of the Hlgh School IS now well over the 200 mark and condltlons have become such that the board has found It necessary to provlde another building for some of the mtermedlate grades It IS mevltable that In the near future Marshall Wlll have a new school blllldlllg whlch Wlll no doubt have the added department of agrlculture BN 'Kiwi
