Those days are called summer. Students managed to fill each day with a wide variety of ac- tivities. Sailing, fishing, swimming, biking, visiting friends, and yes, even working took the place of the classroom for three months. One of the highlights of summer happens as school is beginning. The fall festival provides an opportuni- ty for students to play games, listen to a band concert, watch a melodrama, sample all types of food, and wind up the summer on a positive note. Whatever activity each student found to be of interest, some of the most memorable experiences can be attributed to the fun of summer. All photos courtesy of Tim Dixon Photography
