The Lions started the season with a pep session and a heartbreaking loss to Paris. But then, by outscoring their opponents in each contest, they Won the next eight regular season games and copped the Little Illini Conference championship. This year's Lions were a small but quick team, but not quick enough for a strong Dupo team that defeated them in- the first round of state play- offs. Many lettermen return next year, and the team hopes to repeat its his- toric berth in the Illinois State Foot- ball Play-offs. We They Rockville 20 l2.
