Hisnactions are spirited, his joy intense, and his desire unquenchable. TEAMWORK. A good athlete strives to bring credit upon his team, not upon himself He is not an individualist. IMPROVEMENT. A good athlete never becomes so impressed with himself that he ceases to strive for selfimprovement--mentally, physically, and morally. COURAGE. A good athlete does not know the meaning ofthe word quit. No opponent is too strong for him, and no task is too difficult. SPORTSMANSHIP. A good athlete plays the game cleanly and fairly at all times. He plays the game hard, but he is as gracious in defeat as he is in victory.
