Paula Stepp was chosen to be one of the football cheerleaders. As our Junior Class Play, we presented Diet of Dates. Our biggest and most exciting event of the year was the Junior-Senior Banquet and Prom, which carried out the theme, Three Coins in the Folmtain. Arlene Davis was chosen to attend Illini Girls' State. After three long years, we entered Marshall High in the fall of 1959 as almighty seniors Elected as senior class officers were president, Joyce Miller: vice- president, Terry Steppg secretary, Mary K. Duzan: and treasurer, Artie Miller. Representing us on the Student Council were Kathy Mott, Kay Mitchell, Kenny Macke, and Coy Harmon. Kathy Mott reigned as our Homecoming Queen with Kenny Macke as her escort. Kay Mitchell was Senior Attendant, with Terry Stepp as her escort. The Christmas Dance King was John Davis, and Mary Kay Duzan and Kay Mitchell were attendants to the queen. Senior es- corts were THTY SYCPP.
