Lyons of the Marshall Methodist Church on Sunday evening, June 2. 1946. Mr. Lyons attended the Strasburg High School until 1937. He holds his A. D. Degree from Emory and Henry College and attended Emory University until 1944. Dr. Wallace E. Herrell, who. twenty years before on June 6th, was graduated from the Marshall High School. addressed the Seniors and their guests at the commencement exercises. Dr. Herrell was graduated in med- icine from the University of Virginia in 1933. He interned at the Virginia Mason Clinic in Seattle, Washington, and the Mayo Clinic where he became an assistant professor in medicine in 1938. Dr. Herrell who has done much Work with penicillin, has delivered lectures throughout the United States and has recently Written a book on the importance of penicillin.
