Every boy and girl in the school, in fact, everybody connected with the school, sends word to these friends in uniform that we are trying to remember them in ways that count. For example, our quota,in the Fourth War Loan Drive has been exceeded five times over. Andqwhat is more important, our student body is not now standing back merely lo a.dmire.,this1 record bulk is pressing forward daily to exceed it. ln the appeal tK1Q 'back the attack Marshall students have responded in a truly magnificent way. These achievements on the home front are worthy of mention here. They show one very important thing about which there has been some doubt in America. 'lt is that we are united behind those who are offering their lives. We are proud to honor them, because they are a part of us and the glory of their service and sacrifice shall never be dimmed sol long as We live to keep it bright. l li lv l it llilt will l tlllil l it J, f.
