Aside from this fact, neither the coach, the players, nor the student body feel that the season was a failure, especially after the last game with Central. Undoubted- ly, one of the factors in Marshalls failure was the loss of our star center, Stan Tabor. His place was ably filled by Merril Hubbard, Whose cool head clinched the Central game. Danovsky, center Weisner X This year, Marshall's first in competition with the older and larger high schools of the city, was somewhat an unsuccessful one. ln spite of the efforts of the coaches and the play- ers, the season with the exception of the first game, was made disastrous by an unusual number of injuries and tough competitors. Marshall's first garne with Mechanic Arts was a victorious one indeed, and it looked as if the squad was going to come out on the top of the heap.
