Schools are changing in keeping with the demands of this dynamic industry centered world. The world demands skill and scholarship of people in a measure not previously experienced. John Nlarshall oflers a wider variety of subjects with a greater range of challenge and difliculty than ever before. The school day is longer. More is demanded of students at every level of achievement. Excellence is a human necessity. The emphasis in classrooms is upon skillful training, clear, understanding, thoughtful analysis. Our school is geared to prepare students to enter service trades, skilled fields, technical training and the professions. All who enter here may graduate and find a satis- factory way to earn a living if they will accept the discipline and guidance of the school and earnestly set themselves to master essential daily tasks. Dr. Raymond E. Francis Principal Upon leaving high school, society presents a picture of ever changing conditions. No one can predict with certainty what will be the jobs tomorrow. However, a preparation in basic skills and understandings can chart the way to earn a satisfying living. From the hrst job to the last, competition will be very keen and constant retraining a virtual necessity. The most fruitful jobs of the future will, as never before, go to the reliable, the skillful, the thoughtful, the brave and the imaginative. The world in all of its closeness and ever pressing human problems needs the wisdom and services of knowledgeable and dedicated men and women. As students of the Class of 1964 face a new and exciting world, our faith in your abilities and our best wishes go out to each of you.
