LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT We, the members of the M.H.S. Class of 1953, being of sound mind and memory, do serverally and individually make and declare this, our Last Will and Testament. We, Boots Proffitt, Sally Roberts, Betty Lou White, Emily Metcalf, Grace Norton, Frankie Hunter, Jeanette Wilds, and Ima Jean Davis, will our ability to stay out of trouble, and to get along with the teachers to Shirley Sprinkle, Betty Bryan, Betty Tipton, Marilyn Ramsey, and Nilis Cody. 1, Johnny McElroy, will my ability to get along with Mrs. Chandler to Betty Bryan. We, Bernard Ramsey, Hubert Edwards, and David McKinney will our way to go to Asheville after the banquets to Bobby Sprinkle, Jerry Crow, and Ralph Clark. |, Francine Ramsey, being of sound mind and in good physical shape, will my ability to lose my boy friend to Nilis Cody. | Donald Taylor, will my football jersey No. 27, to Bill Nix. We, Irma Fisher and Jewel Worley, will our places on the basketball team to Juanita Smith and Nilis Cody. : |, Garrett Ramsey, will my ability to go DEAR hunting to Bobby Sprinkle. 1, Craig Reemes, will my seat in Dramatics Class to Ben Frisby, Jr. We, John Wilde and Harry Fisher, will our French books to Mrs. Eure with the hope that we shall never see them again. We, A.Z. Norton, Marie Hunter, and Marie Ward, will our accounting books to Alma Lee Ferguson, Fay Cody, and Martha Ann Fox. We, Glenna Norton and Martha Jane Jarrett, will our French books to Shirley Cody and Barbara Wallin. We, Bennie Simmons, Charles Caldwell and Bruce Treadway, will our English books to Arthur Banks, George Ramsey, and Ralph Clark. I, Swann Ramsey, will my ability to study to Alma Lee Ferguson. We, June Faulkner and Geleen Payne, will our shorthand books to Shirley and Fay Cody and hope they will make fine secretaries. 1, Calvin Edney, will my key to the school store to R. J. Robinson, and my distinction of being Class Baby to Howard Banks. 1, Jimmy Connor, will my love for my classmates and friends to Hal Metcalf. 1, Margaret Morrow, will my ability to be mischievous in study hall to Janice Thomas.
