te pT ng ic ey Nh aN pt SENIOR CLASS HISTORY EVER SINCE BACK IN THE '30'S WHEN THE '49-'50 SENIORS ENTERED GRAMMAR SCHOOL, WE ACQUIRED THE NAME OF THE WILD CROWD, TEACHERS ALWAYS DREADED TO TEACH US, BUT WERE GLAD TO PROMOTE US, WHEN WE REACHED THE EIGHTH GRADE, OUR REPUTATION FOR BEING WILD GREW VEN WORSE, BECAUSE SHORTIE FLYNN CAME TO US FROM ANOTHER SCHOOL THAT YEAR, TO THE TEACHER'S SORROW, SHE HAD AN EVEN MORE DIFFICULT TIME WITH HIM THAN WITH THE REST OF US, FINALLY, THEY LEARNED TO LIKE HIM AND EVEN TO LAUGH AT HIS SILLY JOKES, UPON ,OUR ENTRANCE INTO HIGH SCHOOL, THE !DEA OF CHANGING CLASSES EXCITED US, EVERYTIME THE BELL RANG, THERE WAS A MAD SCRAMBLE TO REACH THE NEXT CLASS, TO OUR SORROW, THE BOYS AND GIRLS WERE SEPARATED IN THE NINTH GRADE, dq UGer GURUSES HOMEROOM, WHICH WAS IN THE HOME ECONOMICS DEPARTMENT DION'T SEEM TO HAVE ENOUGH MIRR@ ORS IN IT FOR LORRAINE RECTOR AND FAYE SIMMONS, BUT THE TEACHER SOON GAVE THEM OTHER THINGS TO THINK ABOUT, MR, DICKERSON BECAME SO FRANTIC OVER THE CONDUCT OF THE NINTH GRADE BOYS THAT HE !S RUMORED TO HAVE SWORN OFF SCHOOL TEACHING FOR ‘LIFE, | SUPPOSE ALL ‘THIS WAS DUE TO THE FACT.
