The seniors trip 3 the Olds plant is high in his -memory as is Mel Aussiker, his fa- orite teacher. The Army will take ill after graduation. 12 JOAN ALETHA FARMER Si Petite Quiet Joan played G.A.A. 4 yrs., F.H.A. l yr. Joan's memories in High School stand out as getting a part in the Sr. play, and an A on her Economics test. She palled with Janice Casey, Barbara Farmer and Laura Stanley. Jo plans an office iob after school. RCILLE M FAST I'm a Big Girl Now Quiet Marcille was active in Latin Club l yr., F.H.A., G.A.A. 3 yrs., and worked on the J-Hop. Her best friends were Ann Corrigan and Sherry Winchell, Standing out most in Marcille's memory were the bas- ketball and football games and dec- orating for the J-Hop. After gradua- tion she plans secretarial work. !'l0 n RICHARD DUCKHAM Man With a Banlo Richard laughed his way through 4 yrs. of F.F.A. Our Johnny Guitar did a good job in the Sr. Amateur show. His pals were Horse Logan and Frank Vahs. His favorite teacher was Mr. Spooner. Richard's hangout was at Makers Market. Plans after gradu- ation are not definite. f r .U . ft. X u BEVERL On the Jovral Bev Historical Jean, choosen Bev's greatest M CHARLES T. FLYNN It's a Great Day for the Irish Red-haired Charlie hit that line 2 yrs. in reserve football, played in the Orchestra l yr., and was in the Latin Club 2 yrs. His favorite hangout was Hitchens' Drugstore, and he will long remember the J-Hop. The smiling Irishman plans to join the Navy via ROBERT J. FLYNN Tell Us Where the Good Times Are Athletics ranked high in Bob's in- terests, with baseball at the top. He played baseball for M.H.S. two years. Quiet Bob could usually be seen with Jim Brubaker and Wilbur Fox around our school halls. After school, Bob plans to work at State Farm Insur- ance Company. , Siu' NORMA M. CORWIN Sing, Sing, Sing Blonde Norma was in G.A.A. 3 yrs., Library Club I yrs., Glee Club I yr., and choir 3 yrs. This cheery Sr. en- ioyed decorating for the J-Hop and can usually be found somewhere with Judy and Fran. Her after-school plans include working at State Farm ln- surance Company, JANET GRACE DELANO Green Eyes EDNA COLLEEN CROWELL There's Danger in Your Eyes, Cherie Gum chewing Edna, was in G.A.A, 3 yrs., Library Club I yr., Journalism I yr., Choir I yr., Latin Club I yr., cheerleading 2 yrs., Jr. play stage crew. Sue Puckett and Sally Pember- ton are her best friends. After gradu- ation beauty school is Edna's goal. Musical Janet played her way thru 6 yrs. of orchestra. She was in F.H.A. 2 yrs., G.A.A. 2 yrs., Library Club I yr., and Biology Club I yr. Winning her first solo her Senior year stands out most in Janet's memories. The future holds Western Michigan Col- lege for Janet, DAVID DELANO What It Was-Was Football Easy-going Dave played 4 years foot- ball, with his brightest moment com- ing this year when Marshall beat Lakeview. To round out his schedule, Dave took part in 2 years Varsity Club, 3 years Hi-Y and was on the Senior play stage crew. He plans to oo to college after working a year. RUTH ELAINE COX l'm Gonna File My Claim Among Ruth's many friends are Nancy Conrad, Sandy Van Noppen, Barbara Ranger, and Velda Sharp- steen. Ruth was a member of the Library Club 2 yrs., of which she was president during her sophomore yr. Ruth plans to get married after graduation. .1 If JOHN DELANEY, JR. Daddy's Little Boy Jovial Moose charged his way through Varsity football 3 yrs., Reserve I yr., track 4 yrs., spent 3 yrs. in F.F.A., and 2 yrs. in Varsity Club, Jr. His- torical Society and the Exchange As- sembly. John will always remember playing one ot the lead roles in the Sr. play. Moose is college bound. - V CE fl? Dave's future plans are farming and to spend his the service. time ar, JULIA ALTHEA FOX God Has Been Good to Me Julia spent 4 active yrs. in the Look Club as secretary, vice-president, and two years as president, along with her activity in Latin and Spanish Clubs, Her most remembered event was a trip to Indiana with the Y.F.C. GEIMAN Faith Can Move Mountains Likeable Bob transferred from Quincy his Sr. year. There he took an active part in Varsity football, track, base- ball, Varsity Club, Conservation Club, LOOK Club, band, was in the Jr. play, and a class officer. Here he participated in Varsity football, track, band, Varsity Club, and LOOK Club. Bob plans to further his education at Moody Bible institute. WILBUR JUNIOR FOX Gone FisI1in ' Friendly Wilbur was active in F.F.A. for 4 yrs. Wilbur's best friends in high school were Bob Flynn, Blaine Wright, and Cliff Wright. His favor- ite hangout was the Sport Center. Wilbur plans after graduating to work on the farm and at State Farm Insurance Company, MARTHA LYNNE GEIGER Rhapsody in Blue Artistic Mart was Art Editor of the Bi-Weekly. Being talented in music she entered the Amateur Show 2 yrs., Jr. and Sr. Plays, Glee Club I yr., and G.A.A. 2 yrs. Martha will always remember Mr. Cunningham's stories which included her.
