Her best friends were Donna Harris, Ruth Cox, and Velda Sharpsteen. This pleasant senior, who is usually found in Al- bion, was most embarrassed when she was kissed on T.V. on her Toth birthday. Nancy's future plans are marriage ,E I x, L x 1 lt.. i x 1 x T0 .IANICE ELAINE COHEN Sleepy Time Gal Peppy Jan went out for 4 yrs. of G.A,A., 3 yrs. Usher Club, l yr, Span- ish Club, and l yr. Biology Club, Jan was in the Senior Amateur Show 2 yrs. and was a maiorette in the Band 2V2 yrs. Sweet Jan also played in the Junior Play. Jan plans on attend- ing Michigan State College. x KENNETH J. COOK Snorin' Song Ken was active in Hi-Y 3 yrs., Con- servation Club l yr., F.F.A. l yr., and Spanish Club l yr. He was most likely found with Larry Bartlett, Don Cook, or Jim Rapp. After graduation Ken plans to work at Maker's and then enter the U. S. Coast Guard. 455 I ROLAND COATS RambIin' Man Blonde-haired Roland enjoyed l yr. Reserve football, 2 yrs. track and 3 yrs. of F.F,A. His best friends during high school were Richard Beattie, Dick Delaney, Blaine Van Sickle, and Bob Brownell. Roland plans to con- tinue working at Maker's Market after graduatio.n l . , 1 GAIL MARIE CORBETT Little Blue Heaven Sweet Gail was in G.A.A. 2 yrs., Li- brary Club I yr., Glee Club l yr., Junior Historical Soc, T yr. She played a little girl in the Senior play. Her best friend is Marie Snyder. After graduation Gail plans to go to West- ern Michigan College. The J-Hop her Junior year stands out most in her memories, ,fa as '-7 PHYLLIS MARIE COATS Red Canary Phyllis will always remember when she received her class ring. She was a member of both F.H.A. and Li- brary Club, and was also in the Sr. Play. Her friends in high school were Anita Shreve and Tonia Kibler. After graduation Phyllis plans to attend Comptometer School and then work. ANN E. CORRIGAN Jump for Joy Ann was a member of both G.A.A, and Band during her four high school years. She spent a great deal of her time at the Steak House. Her friends in school included Phyllis Winsor and Marcille Fast. After school Ann plans to work at State Farm Insurance ompany. 1 I .K,.

His outstand- ing memory is the J-Hop, and re- ceiving his prized Private Pilot's License. This wavy-haired senior en- ioys flying. His future plans are aviation. Ll . l yjlf fflla El-TAPMAN Torch Song Sweet Lynne sang her way through A yrs. in the Amateur Show, Choir 2 yrs., G.A.A. 3 yrs., Latin Club 2 yrs., Usher Club I yr., Debate I yr., Li- brary I yr., makeeup crew Sr. Play. Lynne can usually be found with Phyllis Baker or Martha Geiger. Her plans after graduation are Western. 5,2 O T557 gene -l'roP5 JAMES R. BRUBAKER Never Smile at a Crocodile Easy-going Bru was very active in 2 yrs. reserve football, I yr. varsity football, 4 yrs. F.F.A., and I yr, Varsity Club. Jim palled around with Dick Herman, Bob Walker, Bob Bram- ble. and Bob Flynn. After graduation he plans to join the army. JACKQULON E'VONNE BUSKIRK Now I Lay Me Down to Dream Reserved Jackie ioined F.H.A. I yr., and Library Club I yr. Jackie palled with Donna, Velda and Pauline. Her favorite hangout was the Dugout. The G.A.A. formal her Senior year stands out in her memory the most, After graduation, work at State Farrr Insurance Company holds a iob for her. .-..-, ART CASEY Don't Wake Me Up Handsome Art belonged to Latin Club for 2 yrs. and participated in F.F.A for 2 yrs. Our industrious Sr. play coadirector ran around with Bill Starkweather, Chas. Huepenbecker, Bob Maes, and Dave Halladay. Next year will find Art hard at work at JANICE ELIZABETH CASEY Just Dreaming Peppy Janice was a busy girl being in Latin Club, G.A.A. Look Club, F.H.A. 4 yrs., Junior Historical So- ciety 2 yrs., and the Senior play. attting a part in the Sr. play was Jan's most memorable event, Yelling P ywhen no one else was proved em- arrassing to her, Jan plans to work and then get married. Kelloggs and on the farm. NANCY JEAN CAMPBELL Broke, Barefoot and Starry-eyed Vivacious Nancy zipped through A years G.A.A., 4 years Spanish Club, 2 years Latin Club, 3 years debate, and was associate editor of this year- book, This effervescent gal had a part in the Junior play but getting the lead in the Senior play was her high moment. College will be Nancy's destination in the fall. 4

This cheery Sr. en- ioyed decorating for the J-Hop and can usually be found somewhere with Judy and Fran. Her after-school plans include working at State Farm ln- surance Company, JANET GRACE DELANO Green Eyes EDNA COLLEEN CROWELL There's Danger in Your Eyes, Cherie Gum chewing Edna, was in G.A.A, 3 yrs., Library Club I yr., Journalism I yr., Choir I yr., Latin Club I yr., cheerleading 2 yrs., Jr. play stage crew. Sue Puckett and Sally Pember- ton are her best friends. After gradu- ation beauty school is Edna's goal. Musical Janet played her way thru 6 yrs. of orchestra. She was in F.H.A. 2 yrs., G.A.A. 2 yrs., Library Club I yr., and Biology Club I yr. Winning her first solo her Senior year stands out most in Janet's memories. The future holds Western Michigan Col- lege for Janet, DAVID DELANO What It Was-Was Football Easy-going Dave played 4 years foot- ball, with his brightest moment com- ing this year when Marshall beat Lakeview. To round out his schedule, Dave took part in 2 years Varsity Club, 3 years Hi-Y and was on the Senior play stage crew. He plans to oo to college after working a year. RUTH ELAINE COX l'm Gonna File My Claim Among Ruth's many friends are Nancy Conrad, Sandy Van Noppen, Barbara Ranger, and Velda Sharp- steen. Ruth was a member of the Library Club 2 yrs., of which she was president during her sophomore yr. Ruth plans to get married after graduation. .1 If JOHN DELANEY, JR. Daddy's Little Boy Jovial Moose charged his way through Varsity football 3 yrs., Reserve I yr., track 4 yrs., spent 3 yrs. in F.F.A., and 2 yrs. in Varsity Club, Jr. His- torical Society and the Exchange As- sembly.
