Something to push you to new horizons. Something that will stretch your mind and your spirit. Your life must go beyond the ordinary bread and water of existence. It must make the home, the state, and the world glow in ideas greater than your mere physical comforts and pleasures. A place to speak your conscience, worship your God, determine the vocation you choose, enthrone your leader, and dethrone him when he fails. This can be your life - if you make it bigger than yourself. 1 abilities to make a respectively, have students plan pro- iobs. The office staff at the present time consists of Miss Mary Stachel, Miss Lor- raine Dahl, and Miss Lucille Holden. Mrs. Wilcox, a newcomer to Marshall this year, not only does an admir- able iob as school nurse, but also teaches home nursing. Another indispen- sable aid to our school is Miss Florence Donohue, the visiting teacher. Miss Mae Arlander and Miss Ruth Marfell have done an able iob in taking care of our library. The staff of special teachers consists of Mrs. Knutson, Miss Gertrude Rusch, Miss Agnes Lien, and Mrs. Ethel Turley.

Miss Chapman and Mr. Ol- sen are faculty advisors forthe Judge and Cardi- nal respectively. Miss lzora Bement, Mr. Oliver Seyerson, Miss Ann Dahl, Miss Mable Vincent, and Mrs. Ann Cap- stick staff the common learnings department. The mathematics department under the direction of Miss Rose Liedl, Mr. Lucas Satter, Miss Mary VValsh, and Mrs. Elizabeth Powell plays an import- ant part in our scholastic program. l A Miss Mildred Trumble, Miss Florence Turnquist, Mrs Loyd Jerdee, and Mr. Lester Mikelson staff the science department. Under their able direction, we become little Einsteins . The social studies department is composed of Mr. Erling Lien, Mrs. Carmellita Waddell, Mr. How- ard Straiton, and Mrs. Laura Montank. The music staff consisting of Mr. Lynn Roam, Miss Mabel Vincent, and Mr. Percy Burningham have again done their part in adding to the most en- ioyable aspects of school. This year the band, un- der Mr. Room, sold magazine subscriptions to fi- nance new uniforms. Under the direction of Miss Olga Steyning and Miss Irene Roskilly, Marshall art students turn out g prize-winning posters, sketches, and carvings.
