CLASS PROPHECY This is Mary Glendon Hazlett, your woman about town, speaking to you from the Brass BB, the most talked -- about nightspot in New York. I'm about to witness the most gala social event of the season, the Alumni Banquet of the '52 class of M.C.H.S. The club was decorated entirely with BB's by Miss Jeannette Bowden, designer of the ultra modern house for Queen Elizabeth, who-by- the-way is now confined to the sanitarium. Glancing around, I see the owners of the club, the Verona Corporation com- posed of Mack Hill, Buddy Patterson, Wayne Jones and John Ellington, the silent partner in the firm who has been in charge of a fleet in the Pacific -- Just a minute ! ! ! ! Ladies and Gentlemen! I see the President of the United States, followed by Bubba Liggett, the leader of the Dixiecrat Party and the President's private secretary, LaRue O'Neal, making her way to speed to Admiral Ellington. Mrs. Robert E. Lee, IV, the former Miss Mary Ann Thomas, has made a brilliant record as the first woman president. Not too far away, I see her opponent in the coming election, Mr. E. D. Helton, who will give Mrs. Lee a good race. Mr. Helton is surrounded by a group of politicians, among them his campaign mana- gers, Lee Foster, and Buddy Webb. Oh! Ladies and Gentlemen, just approaching the speaker's table is Dr. Waldo Seay, just having escaped from the Amazons who captured him when he went to the wild dark regions of South America a few years ago on an expedition. Rising to greet him, is Bill Shapard, the famous criminal lawyer. Seated also at the speaker's table is Miss Helen Lee Brown, world famous commercial artist and originator of the comic strip, Oh, Tiger, How Could You? Hi There! Folks, that was Tom Hunter, the Walter Winchell of our day. I see the cigarette girls, Maralyn Harrell and Dotty Williams, making their way over to the famous cowboy stars, John Causey and Lee Clark. Their latest production is Buzzards Over Dry Gulch. There's quite a bit of confusion! Everyone is stretching to see Miss America of 1954, the former Miss Angela Wiggins as she enters. They tell me she is now raising American Beauties. frosesj Just arriving, also, are Mr. and Mrs. Blalock and Mr. and Mrs. McPeak. It is rumored that Joye and Addelle were found by their husbands reading Cheaper By the Dozen. Oh No! . . . I can't believe it ! ! . . Not Jimmy Williams. He must be at least 7ft. Zin. tall and weigh at least 300 lbs. They tell me that he and Higgins Edwards patented a new medicine, Cadahol, which guarantees any man who uses it muscles within six weeks. What's all the yelling about.? Oh, I see, it's Joan and Thomas Russell. Gone are looks of endearment -- It seems they found you can't live on love. I see George McRady doing nothing as usual. They say he is living off un- employment insurance and lived in constant fear that someone will offer him a job. Tommy Ervin, the famed dentist, is giving his hat to the hatcheck -ff: girls, Marion 'Foster and Eleanor McLean. As you probably have -1- read, Tommy is the one who invented the unbreakable teeth. He is 'J' followed by his assistant, Miss Helen McKnight. ' IQ J Married life seems to agree with Mildred Helton, LaVerne Mc- .xf Caleb, Evelyn Endsley and Melba Haisip as they chat happily about i' the husbands and children. , U '13, Wait ! ! s who is this funny looking fellow with the iong beard? Q Could it be? . . . ls it? . . . Yes, Ladies and Gentlemen, it's Jackie Roddy who has been living as a hermit after the girls drove him into hiding. Don Beard and Scotty Bless seem to be in a heated discussion. U 'Ill nl' Don, who has changed his name to Francois, is now a famous hair V Compliments of Standard Drug Co.
