New classes and old help students gain the knowledge and understanding needed to take their places in a fast-moving world. NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY Leading the National Honor Society this year were: Left to Right: Veloy Richards, Vice- President: Karen Garrett, President: Brenda Bloxham, Secretary. The National Honor Society is an honorary organization for Juniors and Seniors who maintain high grades through high school. In order to become a member they must be on the Honor Roll, which requires all A's or all A 's and one B. Their grades must then never drop below a B+ average. This year the club members participated in many projects including: visiting each grade school and explaining the high school 's clubs and organizations to the future students, going to Logan to act as audience on the After Schoo1 T. V. program, patrolling the halls during classes when needed, selling programs at District Wrestling Tournaments, and donating money to the Kathleen Seppi Memorial Scholarship Fund. They highlighted their year with a club picnic. Members of the Advisory Council were: FRONT ROW: Mrs. Treasure, Mrs. Payne. 2nd ROW: Mr. Nielsen, Mr. Lowe. FRONT ROW: Jeanine Kay, Brenda Bloxham, Karen Garrett, Irene Hadley, Vickie Stone, Veloy Richards, Janie Dunn, Ivalue N.
