A MAN OF ACTION PRlNCIPAl'S MESSAGE Knowledge is an essential part of man 's development and progress. Only according to our ignorance are we helpless. Thought creates character. Character can dominate conditions under which we live. The strength of a nation or a school system is in its peoplef By gaining knowledge, spreading sound thinking, clean speech, useful effort, and wholesome living we hope to keep our nation free and great. We must also keep in mind that the fuel behind all verbal reasoning is informationg and reasoning is the short-cut to success. It is a big step toward success when a person is able to notice that there are some things he does not know, and takes action to fill the gap. To know, to get into the truth of things, is one of lifes mystic delights. jw l : ',, Our principal, Mr. Wayne Nielsen, is indeed a man of action. His activities range from presiding over faculty meetings to taking pictures for yearbook and journalism. He is always willing to help classes, clubs, or individuals in any way that he can to encourage them to achieve their goals. A great deal of thanks is extended to Mr. Nielsen for his cooperation and dedication to the students of Marsh Valley.
