Irene Hadley qleftj was Marsh Valley 's Betty Crocker Homemaker of Tomorrow. Kathy Crump, frightj was awarded the Crisco trophy after being chosen by Mrs. Kathy Richardson as the most outstanding Home Economics student. f Ruth Ann Christensen was chosen by the Music Department as the most outstanding music student and given the Musician of the Year Award. AWARD Cornell Smith, Freshmang Kim Andrus, Sophomoreg Craig Lowry, Iuniorg and Byron Allen, Auto Mechanics were chosen by Mr. Grant Thompson as the ourstanding Shop students in their classes. The Nielsen Awards for the Sales Speech Contest were presented to Clark Millard, lst Cleftjg DeWayne Lazenby, 2nd frightjg and Emory Nestor, 3rd fnot shownj. Receiving the G. A. A. awards were: Cathryn Archibald, Girl of the Yearg Susan Woodland, Ping Pong: and Jeannette Thompson, Shot Put. They were chosen for their abilities and participation in G. A. A. activities.
