Officers and Advisor of the Chess Club were: Val Anderson, Vice-Pres.: Scott Sexton, Presidentg Mr. Hanson, Advisory and Emory Christensen, Secretary. H2 CHESS ClUB The Chess Club was organized this year for the first time in the history of Marsh Valley. A The purpose of the club was to teach the members who were new at the game the fundamentals and techniques of Chessg and to help members who had competed in the game before develop new skills. This club will be part of the school in the years to corne and will join the others in the functions of Marsh Valley.
